The seminar, called Exit Strategy: SELL!™ will be held on March 20, 2008 at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort and begins at 9:00 am.
At this seminar, you will learn strategic ways to identify conventional and alternative buyers; and to plan, negotiate, and execute the sale of a company. The seminar speaker has more than 20 years experience building and selling small to medium-sized companies, of which the majority were start-ups. Of the seven companies sold by the speaker, six remain in business today. Particularly noteworthy is the speaker’s history of selling two companies to executives at Berkshire Hathaway.
The 3-hour comprehensive Exit Strategy: SELL!™ seminar will give attendees the following information:
• options for selling a company or product;
• creative ways to position a company to appeal to prospective buyers;
• the mechanics of the negotiation and the sale;
• how to manage expectations of investors, stakeholders and employees;
• identifying prospective buyers and understanding those buyers’ expectations;

The seminar speaker is Mr. Jerry L. Short, who is Chairman and Founder of QUINDECA Corporation, a 20-year public and private sector consultancy firm. He also serves as CEO of Alesco Enterprises, Inc., Marketers and Publishers for the Web. A veteran of more than 200 speaking engagements in a wide range of industries and topics, Mr. Short has built five companies from inception and negotiated the sale of seven companies. His most recent negotiations resulted in the sale of two companies to executives at Berkshire Hathaway.
