Raquel Baldelomar - Founder & Managing Director
Raquel Baldelomar founded Quaintise in 2003 when she discovered there was a lack of strategic and creative brand strategy, advertising, and public relations firms specializing in healthcare marketing. In a very short time, her international business experience, leadership, and vision have propelled the agency to the top of the industry for healthcare marketing. Arizona OBGYN Affiliates, Arizona Heart Institute, Southwest Kidney Institute, CORD:USE Cord Blood Bank, and Family Practice Specialists are just a few of the largest healthcare brands in the United States that Raquel has personally nurtured and crafted 360 degree strategic plans that have increased market share, new patient volume, and expanded revenue. She was recognized by The Arizona Republic as a TOP 35 UNDER 35 ENTREPRENEUR.
Raquel graduated from the Business Honors Program at the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Finance; as a Financial Analyst for JP Morgan Private Bank, she successfully grew multi-million dollar Private Equity portfolios; is a sought-after speaker on healthcare marketing strategies and issues; and is fluent in Spanish.
Raquel was born and raised in South America for 10 years. She is a contributing writer for Luxury Travel Magazine. Raquel lives in Scottsdale, AZ and Los Angeles, CA.
Gregg Cebulski - Creative Director
Gregg began his career as a Copywriter, then Creative Director, then Strategy Director with some of the leading agencies in the Midwest and West, including Foote Cone and Belding, Cramer Krasselt, Benenson Jasnson, Bayer Bess Vanderwarker and Phillips Ramsey, helping to build brands like Hallmark, Folgers, Suave, Captain Crunch, Ameritech, First Chicago, Honeywell, Tide, Doubletree and Gatorade.
His client partners in Healthcare have included John C. Lincoln Hospitals and Health Services Alliance and Camelback Hospital in Arizona, Kings Daughters Medical Center in Kentucky, Shriners Hospital in Ohio, The Spirit of Women Hospital Alliance, nationwide, Medica Physicians Network in Ohio, Kendal Inc., Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Arizona.
As Creative Director for Quaintise, Gregg is involved in developing the campaign strategy from the beginning through a disciplined Brand Audit to developing creative concepts for campaigns and ensuring that those campaigns are fully executed. Gregg’s belief for how to set a campaign apart is to arrest your audience with messages that are provocative, unexpected, and leaves the customer wanting to be a member of the brand. He has developed integrated campaigns for Quaintise clients using multiple media platforms while maintaining a consistent brand message.
John Nguyen - Director of Business Development
John has over 10 years of experience in marketing and public relations, with 7 years focusing on healthcare. John has successfully developed and implemented different marketing strategies for medical imaging centers, pharmaceutical companies, and different senior care industry facilities. John also has successfully managed sales teams and created different campaigns to increase new business opportunities for his clients.
With a background in Psychology from California State University Long Beach, John always strives to build strong relationships with everyone he associates with. He is also actively involved with many Kiwanis and is an animal lover - supporting many animal rescues and charities.
Cortney Tucker - Art Director
Cortney is an award-winning designer, whose combination of agency experience and entrepreneurial spirit has propelled her success. After graduating from University of the Arts - Philadelphia in 1998, Cortney worked at a select few agencies in the New York City and Connecticut where she created unique, intelligent and memorable visual communication materials for companies including BMW Financial Services, United Healthcare, Oxford Health Plans, Clayton, Wellesley College, and Allied Domecq (brands: Hiram Walker, Stolichnaya).
In 2005, Cortney relocated to Phoenix, AZ, where she continues to fuel her passion for design and illustration and creating effective branding, identity, and marketing pieces for both print and digital media.
Calvin Naito - Vice President of Public Relations
Calvin’s most valuable quality is his ability to work with a management team in identifying and solving an enterprise’s most pressing problems. He is creative, trustworthy, entrepreneurial, and a team player that has a passion for “adding value” and contributing to an organization’s success.
Calvin’s prior work experience includes media representative for Kaiser Permanente, public information officer for the Los Angeles County Community Development Commission, vice president of public relations and communications for an Internet start-up called the IntraCom Corporation, manager of communications for the Federal Reserve's Los Angeles branch, and press secretary to a Los Angeles city councilperson.
In the course of his career, Calvin has successfully handled dozens of major controversies and crisis management situations. His work has been honored 28 times. He has conducted media training sessions for executives and has also guest lectured at a number of universities.
Calvin graduated from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government with a Master in Public Policy degree and California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a BS degree in environmental engineering and a minor in English.
Jill Bernstein - Content Marketing Director
As Content Marketing Director, Jill helps Quaintise clients make an impact beyond traditional media, incorporating content marketing strategies for email newsletters, social media, and blog platforms. Jill researches and writes our client’s email newsletters focusing on contextually relevant branded content that speaks to each client’s targeted demographic group. Jill also ensures that each content marketing campaign makes the right emotional connection with customers to help them become brand ambassadors for our client’s brand.
Kandice Linwright - Social Media & SEO Director
As Social Media and SEO Director for Quaintise, Kandice oversees the social media strategy for all Quaintise clients. Kandice manages all social media broadcasting, monitors our client’s Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages, and writes regular blogs posts to help maintain top organic search engine results for client web sites.
During her years at Arizona State University, Kandice spent hours in the classroom and on the web studying the basics of SEO and HTML. Today, she shares with Quaintise clients her years of education, tenacious study, and experience in the search engine industry for executing successful SEO campaigns for clients at the local, state, and national levels.
A background in writing has enabled Kandice to hone her SEO attention on content development and distribution, as well as social media marketing. She has also added location-based marketing and in-depth analytics to her arsenal of services she can offer clients. She’s administered campaigns that have increased web traffic by up to 209% while at the same time increasing organic keyword rankings by 500% over a matter of months.
Sarah Swygert - Account Executive
As Account Executive for Quaintise, Sarah manages the relationships and communication between the Quaintise agency staff and client to ensure that each client's needs and goals are being met on every project. Sarah also manages the execution of client campaigns to make sure they are created within the allocated schedule and budget. She is involved during the Brand Audit phase of client projects conducting research on demographics for client’s targeted consumers. After completing an accelerated bachelors program at Northern Arizona University, Sarah quickly gained agency experience that allows her to bring cutting edge techniques to all her marketing efforts.
Terry McManus - Senior Copywriter
Terry’s diverse healthcare PR and advertising clients include Mphasis Health Care Solutions, CliniComp Int’l., MEDSEEK, the American Association of Medical Assistants, Stryker Sustainability Solutions (formerly Ascent Healthcare Solutions), Dermacare, and Amendola Communications. He’s also worked in branding and marketing for PetSmart, Inc.
Terry’s journalism background includes reporting for The New York Times, Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune, Phoenix magazine, Advertising Age, and Crain’s Chicago Business, among others. He’s also contributed chapters to two books published by Rodale Press, Inc.
Terry works with the creative team at Quaintise to develop copy for marketing and advertising campaigns that tells each client’s unique story, in a way that resonates with viewers and readers, and produces an emotional response.
Rhonda Smith - Senior Account Executive
When you work with Rhonda, you work with someone who makes your business her personal passion. Her multi-decades of experience in integrated general and Hispanic marketing and her ability to manage large, multi-faceted projects makes her an invaluable asset to any serious creative endeavor. She is an expert in getting top-level intelligence and research, as well as marketing strategy and content development for all marketing channels, including digital.
Focusing on Client Services and Brand Management for advertising and marketing firms in Phoenix and San Francisco, her work has supported major brands in the Airline, Medical, Banking, Retail, Homebuilding, Consumer Product and Utility industries.
Her Healthcare clients have included The Arizona Heart Institute, Medicis Pharmaceuticals, Nationwide Vision, Philosophy Skin Care, Ciao Bella Medical Spa and Vein Clinic, and Aunt Rita’s Foundation.
As Account Executive for Quaintise, Rhonda gains extensive knowledge in the Client’s organization and industry and works as a creative problem solver and marketing partner with them. She collaborates with Quaintise’s creative, media and PR teams to develop and implement the client’s overall integrated marketing plan. And continues to facilitate and measure the plan throughout its success.
